Recollection of German crimes

The Germans, those criminals of the world, were treating Poles cruelly in concentration camps. The Gestapo forced poor Poles to work like cattle. A lot of Poles were starving to death.

[If] any Pole collapsed from hunger, the Germans would kill [him] like a dog [unreadable]. They brought exhausted [people] by cars from work, they burned them in gas ovens, and spread their ashes on fields as artificial fertilizer. I saw with my own eyes, how Germans encircled the village with cannons and tanks and burned every building. People began to flee in a great panic.

The few people they caught, were brought to the town, where they were taken as partisans. We will long [recall] and remember in our hearts this German crime.
