Kielce, 6 November 1948, 12.30 a.m. Marian Poniewierka from the Citizens’ Militia Station in Kielce, with the participation of court reporter Edward Pękalski, interviewed the person named below as a witness. Having been advised of the criminal liability for making false declarations and of the wording of Article 140 of the Penal Code, the witness testified as follows:
Name and surname | Jan Piecaba |
Parents’ names | Antoni and Franciszka, née Błaszczyk |
Date and place of birth | 15 December 1905, Kielce-Szydłówek |
Religious affiliation | Roman Catholic |
Occupation | laborer |
Place of residence | Kielce, Szydłówek Dolny 123 |
Relationship to the parties | brother-in-law |
I know that Antoni Adamczyk and his friends, Jan Motyka and Tadeusz Przybylski (having been summoned by the insurgent central headquarters), were caught in possession of weapons as they were walking in the direction of the Warsaw Uprising by German Gestapo men in the wood in Mazur (a part of Kielce): they were carrying medical supplies.
Shortly afterwards, that is on 10 August 1944, they were executed at the Stadium in Kielce.
I have nothing more to add.
