Kielce, 8 November 1948. Marian Poniewierka from the Citizens’ Militia Station in Kielce, with the participation of court reporter Edward Pękalski, interviewed the person named below as a witness. Having been advised of the criminal liability for making false declarations and of the wording of Article 140 of the Penal Code, the witness testified as follows:

During an exhumation carried out in the late spring of 1945, out of five people executed on Prosta Street by the Water and Sewage Works, two bodies were identified: Józef Niedziela, court registrar, and Marian Flor. The surnames of the remaining three people mentioned in the Red Cross report couldn’t be established beyond doubt, as their bodies were in a state of complete decomposition.
