On 14 October 1943 at 8.00 a.m. Gestapo men came to my place and took me, my husband and my twelve-year-old daughter away. We were put in prison in Kielce. My husband was accused of holding communist views and of treating the wounded.
After 10 days spent in prison, on 24 October 1943, before noon, along with other prisoners he was taken away to Słowik and shot to death. I can’t provide any details as I was incarcerated at that time.
In December 1943, I was taken to Auschwitz from where I returned on 20 March 1945. In my presence the corpse of my husband was removed from Słowik to the cemetery in Kielce.
The report was read out.
