In the summer of 1943 (I don’t remember the exact date), my son, Czesław was arrested at home at Zakręt Street 9. I do not know what he was arrested for, but I know that he was hiding from the Germans and was usually away from home.

After being arrested, he spent a few days at the Gestapo station and was then transferred to the prison in Kielce.

On 14 December 1943, my son and a number of other men were executed in Herby in Kielce, and this is also where they were buried.

In 1945 my son’s body was transferred to the Partisans’ Cemetery in Kielce.

The report was read out.
