As regards the present case, I am aware of the following facts: This occurred in March

of 1943. Maria Mierzejewska, accused by the Germans of being a member of the Home Army, was executed by gendarmes at Skałka in the village of Słupia Nowa. The said Maria Mierzejewska was denounced by a German informer, one Stefan Smurzyński, who later in the same year was killed by Home Army partisans in the township of Wojciechów, commune of Bodzentyn, as punishment for fighting the Home Army on the side of the Germans. As regards the other people who were brought in from neighboring villages: Jeleniów, Dębniak, commune of Grzegorzowice, district of Opatów, Bartoszowiny, Szklana Huta, commune of Bieliny, district of Kielce, Dębno, Jeziórko, commune of Słupia Nowa – they were executed at Skałka in the village of Słupia Nowa and buried at the spot. The German informers had aroused suspicions that these people were active in underground organizations. The execution was carried out by gendarmes from an SS flying squad. I do not know the surnames of the perpetrators.

I have testified all the facts known to myself. At this point the report was brought to a close and read out before being signed by the witness.
