In Chełmce on this day, 17 November 1948, at 6.00 p.m., I, officer Henryk Garlicki from the Citizens’ Militia Station in Piekoszów, heard the person named below as a witness, having first advised the said of the criminal liability for making false declarations, pursuant to the provisions of Article 140 of the Penal Code, and of the right to refuse testimony for the reasons stated in Article 104 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, whereupon the witness stated:

| As regards the present case, I | am aware of the following facts: It is known to myself that on 6 |
April 1943 German gendarmes accompanied by functionaries of the Blue Police surrounded the village of Chełmce and detained Walenty Gońgorowski, Jan Gońgorowski, Stefan Gońgorowski, Aniela Gońgorowska, Stefan Zapała, Władysław Kasprzyk and Jan Zapała. All of them were transported to Łopuszno, and after three days of interrogations the following were executed: Walenty (Antoni) Gońgorowski, Aniela Gońgorowska, Stefan Zapała, Władysław Kasprzyk, and Jan Zapała. The others: Jan Gońgorowski and Stefan Gońgorowski were deported to Auschwitz, where they were incarcerated until the end of the occupation.
I have testified all the facts known to myself. At this point the report was brought to a close and read out before being signed by the witness.
