With regard to the present matter, I know the following: I testify that in May 1942 the German gendarmerie took me to the labor camp for junacy [young men] in the town of Witów, Koszyce commune, in order to carry out land reclamation and other jobs. In the camp, there were about 200 young men from Pińczów district, which was the Miechów district during the German occupation. During my time in the labor camp, from 1942 to 1943, one person was executed. He was Tadeusz Józimczyk, aged 20, a butcher by trade, residing in Koszyce. He was shot dead by the German gendarmerie in the town of Sienniki.

In the same year, about 24 people from the labor camp for young men were sent to the penal camp in Dębica and the penal camp in Kraków. Whether or not any of those young men were murdered by the Germans in the penal camp I do not know. The labor camp for young men in Witów lasted for seven months under the leadership of a German SS-man, who resided in Koszyce.

I would like to mention that after I had finished my duty for junacy, in 1943 or [19]44 – I cannot remember the exact date – Stanisław Skowron, a farmer, was shot dead together with his wife in Piotrowice, Koszyce commune. I cannot remember any other murders and I do not know the name of the former leader of the labor camp for young men in Witów. In the said camp we were tortured and beaten by the German gendarmerie.

At that the report was concluded and signed after being read out.
