On 15 September 1942, Kazimierz Rutkowski from the secret police arrested my son Tadeusz and escorted him to the Gestapo.

On 19 September 1942, my husband and I were arrested by the Gestapo and taken to the prison in Kielce. During the interrogation, I was asked what organization my son was a member of and why he didn’t work.

While in prison I was notified in writing that my husband had died on 8 October 1942.

I was released from prison on 20 November 1942. Once clear of prison, I learned from my family that my husband had been buried in Piaski-Kielce Cemetery.

Antoni Adamczyk was the most instrumental in arresting my son. During the occupation, he lived on Piaskowa Street and served in the Criminal Police. At the end of 1943, he moved to Łódź.

The report was read out.
