LEOKADIA MUNCZEK

Volunteer Leokadia Munczek, born on 2 June 1906.

On 10 February 1940, the Soviet government deported me and my family to the Novosibirsk Oblast, where I was forced to work.

After our release, [due to] the amnesty of 1 September, we went to Siberia to Oblast [illegible], I was in the kolkhoz. On 12 February 1942, my husband was drafted into the Polish Army. My husband and my two children left for Persia on 25 March. When they were gone I went to Gorczakowo – it was 4 April – and joined the Army. I met with the military commission on 11 April. On 18 April, I arrived in Guzar. I took a sanitary course there. On 10 August, I was assigned to the sanitation company. From 24 August 1942, I have been working as a paramedic in the Military Hospital no. 3.
