Having been advised of the criminal liability for making false declarations and of the wording of Article 140 of the Penal Code, the witness testified as follows:

At the very beginning of November 1943, when I was going through the forest to Zaosie, I saw two handcuffed men, who were being addressed by a German from Teodorów – Harry Szuman. They were surrounded by some thirty Germans.
When he finished his speech, Szuman began to beat both standing Poles about the head and face, generally all over their bodies. After a while they led both these men to the Budziszewice – Ujazd road and I heard from the end of the forest someone shouting Raus in German and then I heard shooting from automatic weapons. Both these Poles were executed by the Germans. I don’t know who these Poles were.
At this the report was concluded, read out and signed.
