On 27 May 1947, Chaim Milchman appeared in the office of the police of the United Nations Relief and Rehabilitation Administration in Stuttgart, Western section, camp no. 664, and made the following declaration in lieu of an oath:

From June 1942 to 31 July 1944 I was imprisoned in the concentration [forced labor] camp “Hasag” in Skarżysko-Kamienna. This camp, just as the other camps in the district of Radom, was under the supervision of SS- undPolizeiführer Böttcher. He often visited, accompanied by the SS officers Schippers and Feucht. On 23 January 1943 Böttcher appeared in the camp with Lagerführer [camp leader] Bartenschläger and his assistants, Eisenschmitt and Schippers. They inspected all of the barracks. They also entered the laundry room in the “Ekonomie” barrack. They sent for my sister Gucia Milchman, Miss Silbermann and Miss Eisenberg under the pretext of taking part in some celebration. It was supposed to be held in the director’s office at the “Hasag” ammunition factory. Later I learnt the details of this “celebration” from my sister’s friend. After two hours of serving as entertainment, my sister and two other girls were shot. My sister’s friend who told me about this event had been summoned as well, but they sent her away because she was sick that day.
Other Jewish girls died in the same manner in September 1942, also during a “celebration” organized by Böttcher.
