I know Polizeiführer Böttcher very well. His car and driver were universally known. I worked with the order service. One day in the summer of 1943 I was ordered to bring in a Jewess who was late for work in Bat’s company. At the moment I arrived at the factory with her and was reporting her lateness to the factory’s foreman, Böttcher also arrived. He entered the tailor’s workshop and, for no reason whatsoever, ordered his driver to stop and take me to the ghetto and shoot me there. On the same day, the executions unit commanded by Untersturmführer Kapke arrived. When I noticed it, at the last moment I fled.

I declare, in lieu of an oath, that the above is true to facts. I am aware of the criminal liability for making false declarations. I am ready to appear before a court as a witness.
