I know that Untersturmführer Kapke headed the "Ukrainian" executions unit in Radom.

One day in the summer of 1942, I lay ill in the barrack when suddenly I heard shooting. I knew that Jews were often executed for staying in the ghetto during work hours. I hid on the floor and watched everything that was going on outside from under the window. I noticed two Jews: one hid in the stable and the other in the toilet. At that moment Kapke and the "Ukrainians" arrived and, searching the premises, found both of them. They also found some Jews who worked as cart drivers transporting away the dead. Kapke ordered that the first two be shot. The cart drivers, being indispensable, were spared.

I declare, in lieu of an oath, that the above is true to facts. I am aware of the criminal liability for making false declarations. I am ready to appear before a court as a witness.
