On 15 October 1942, ten people – 6 men and 4 women – were executed by the Germans on the gallows erected by the Warsaw road in Radom. I was at the execution site a few minutes before the bodies were removed from the gallows and I recognized a good acquaintance of mine, Halina Bretsznajder, among the people hanged by the Germans.
I didn’t recognize anyone else. Nor did I see a board set up next to the gallows.
After their removal from the gallows, the bodies were loaded onto a truck and taken in the direction of Firlej.
Having been shown a photograph of the people executed by the Warsaw road, the witness testified as follows: Halina Bertsznajder, whom I recognized on the gallows on the day of her execution, is hanging third from the left or eighth from the right.
The report was read out.
