Beginning in 1941, I worked for three years as a cart driver in Majdanek, as due to the fact that I lived nearby the Germans forced me to cart corpses to the pits and the crematorium. I very often saw Erich Muhsfeldt, the head of the crematorium, who would torture prisoners in a most cruel manner, killing them sometimes with a club, and other times with a revolver. I witnessed Muhsfeldt commit these atrocities. Once, he wanted to murder my brother Longin, whom he grabbed by the throat, but fortunately he desisted from this criminal intent. Muhsfeldt gave orders to murder the prisoners, burn them in the crematorium and gas them. I recognize him in the photograph presented to me beyond any doubt.
The report was read out.
