Nowy Korczyn, 24 November 1946
At the request of the District Commission for the Investigation of German Crimes in Radom, I, militiaman Marian Jaworski from the Citizens’ Militia Station in Nowy Korczyn, interviewed the person specified below as a witness who testified as follows:

In 1942, while serving in the Polish police, I witnessed a murder committed by Germans in Nowy Korczyn: seven Poles were shot to death by gendarmes who were Volksdeutscher. I also saw 30 people being shot and buried in six graves. While at the scene, I determined that the victims had been tied up prior to the shooting, their hands were tied behind their backs, and they were lying on the ground when they were killed with shots to the back of the head. Having been delegated to the town of Grabów outside Radom, I saw a concentration camp for prisoners of war located in a town between Dobieszyn and Bartowice [?]. I witnessed the harassment inflicted on (mainly Russian) POWs. I was there when one prisoner, who was exhausted and unable to work, was beaten to death with clubs by Germans.
