(The list of criminals from Auschwitz was read out).

I stayed in the Auschwitz camp from 21 May 1941 until 12 April 1943. From the [period of] my stay in the camp, I know the following SS men about whom I can say the following:

1) Han Aumeier – he was the Lagerführer [head of the camp]. He was very energetic and I saw him punch the prisoners in the face. He was very taxing.

2) Max Grabner – he worked in the Political Department, he was a real villain, he poked his nose in everything, he was the terror of the whole camp. I heard that during interrogations he was so abusive to prisoners that some of them didn’t make it out of his interrogations alive, such was the torture that they endured. I don’t know the names of these prisoners.

This is my testimony, which I read and signed.
