Memorandum
On 21 July 1947, eng. Roman Lichy, resident of Milanówek, [appeared at] the summons of the District Commission for the Investigation of German Crimes in Warsaw and announced that during the Warsaw Uprising of 1944 he was not in Warsaw and that he learned of the fate of men from the group of civilians which included Eustachy Piotrowski, Jerzy Stroński, Wiśniewki, and others, from accounts. He was told by an officer of the Home Army, now deceased, whose surname he does not know, that that that group was executed near Opacz. He does not have any precise information about the execution. He thinks that the group was executed because none of them has been found yet.
