On 17 October 1947, with the participation of reporter R. Muszyńska, Investigative Judge W. Kuryłowicz of the Regional Court in Końskie, a member of the Końskie Branch of the District Commission for [the Investigation of] German Crimes, interviewed the person named below as an unsworn witness. Having been advised of the criminal liability for making false declarations and of the wording of Article 107 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, the witness testified as follows:

On 23 November 1942, my brother Bronisław Czyż was killed in Końskie, at the German gendarmerie station. He had been arrested [earlier] that day, on 23 November 1942, in the village of Stary Młyn; Bronisław Czyż was buried by the Germans in the garden next to the gendarmerie [station]. Their bodies have now been transferred to the Catholic cemetery, to the partisans’ common grave in Końskie.
