[In] October 1940, I was drafted into the Soviet army. I served in the army for nine months until I was assigned to airport construction in [illegible]. We worked at the airport construction [site] for two months. Then, I was sent to another Lager [camp]. There, we built barracks until the Polish military commission came and I was enlisted. It was on 28 February 1942, [that] I was completely released.
