It is unknown what the victims were accused of.

5. Who carried out the execution (gendarmerie, Gestapo, SS, police, Wehrmacht)?

Before the murder was committed, the Gestapo rounded up all the town residents to

the place of execution in order to spread fear.

6. Are the surnames of the perpetrators known (please provide the surnames)?

The surnames of the perpetrators are unknown.

7. Were the corpses burned or destroyed in any other way?

The corpses were buried in a field situated 100 m away from the place of execution.

8. Where were the corpses buried (exact location)?

In the town of Skaryszew, in the field of Jan Czapczyński.

9. Description of the grave(s) (size, estimated number of victims buried in one grave):

After the execution, pits were dug in the field and every person was buried in their

own grave.

10. Was there an official exhumation? Were the corpses buried officially, and if so, where?

The bodies were officially exhumed on 22 April 1945. The bodies of six victims from

Radom, except for Józef Szczepański, were removed from the graves and transferred to

the cemetery in Radom. The bodies of Szczepański, Wolczyński and Korcz were taken

away and buried at the cemetery in Skaryszew.

11. Are there any grounds for exhumation in the future?

Currently, there aren’t any.

On 4 October 1945, the contents of the above questionnaire were officially certified by Wacław Falkiewicz, the mayor of the Town of Skaryszew, with the Municipal Court in Radom.
