I will try to obtain some photographs from my family, as all photographs in my possession – along with the rest of my belongings – were lost in Volhynia. I survived only because I came to my family to give birth to my child (born on 18 July 1939), who was only a month old when my husband went to war.
Please accept my profound gratitude for your concern and work; I will always remember you in my prayers.
Helena Pisarek
