My memories of the German occupation

The Germans came in their cars and surrounded the village before dawn. They came to our homes and took the men to their cars. About half of the Germans went to Kalinka to get people. When they were taking [the men] to the cars, the children followed and cried for their fathers to be let home. When they brought [them] to Zaliszcze, they tossed the men from Zaliszcze and Kalinka into cars and did not even let them say goodbye to their families. Instead they took them to Biała. After a few weeks they brought the prisoners to Wisznice and shot them there.
