On 6 March 1944, in the village of Edwardów, Skaryszew commune, Radom district, the German gendarmerie shot the following five people: Jan Urbański, Wiktoria Urbańska, Józef Siwiec, Aniela Siwiec and Józef Gołąbek. I did not personally witness the execution, because I had gone to Radom for wood at that time. I arrived in Edwardów at nightfall. I had found out about the execution in Skaryszew from Niedziela, the commandant of the police station in Skaryszew. In Edwardów, I learnt that they had been executed as retaliation for the killing of two Blue policemen by the partisans who were staying at the Urbański family residence. I was told that three policemen had been passing through the village of Edwardów: the commandant of the police station in Skaryszew, whose surname I don’t know, and two policemen – Walczak and Porębski. The policemen ran into partisans in Edwardów and started shooting, killing two partisans. The partisans then opened fire, killing two policemen – Walczak and Porębski. The commandant fled and informed the German gendarmes who then drove to Edwardów and killed these five people, including Gołąbek, who happened to be visiting his neighbour Jan Trybuła. After the execution the Germans expelled the Urbański family from their property.

The report was read out.
