The most memorable moment from the German occupation

One early morning the Germans came to a neighboring village, surrounded it and took several men whom they thought were partisans. They led them out of the village and ordered them to lie down on the ground. Then a German walked up to each Pole and shot him in the head. But when he walked up to one man and was about to shoot him, his revolver jammed, and he couldn’t shoot. He threw the gun aside and took another, but it again didn’t fire. He put in another bullet, fired and killed the man. [Fragment missing] called the residents and told them to bury the murdered men in that spot.
