What do the mass graves tell us?

The Germans left many graves in Poland – huge tombs where the murdered Poles are buried. In some of these graves, hundreds and thousands of the murdered are buried, both Poles and Jews. These graves remind us how terribly the Germans oppressed our country and how many Poles perished under their rule. Blood was shed all over Poland; no village, forest, or field was left untainted by German crimes. These graves will [remind us] about German crimes, our dreadful ordeal and the greatest sacrifices suffered by our nation.
