The soldiers’ graves
The graves of Polish soldiers who sacrificed their lives for Poland can be found across the entire country. During our first captivity, they took up arms and perished in various forest hideouts from wounds, hunger and cold. We honor their graves, because they tell us about the strength and power of our beloved homeland. These men woke Poland from a long slumber and set its borders with their graves. The Polish soldiers fought to their last breath, so that we, the living, may live better lives.
