What do the mass graves tell us?

In the fields, forests and roadside ditches, there can be found mass graves that remind us of the German invaders. We remember how the occupiers murdered our brothers, our loved ones and relatives, and buried them in the forests, balks and fields. We knew about these graves, but we couldn’t openly honor the victims. Now, when we pass by these graves, we remind ourselves that our innocently murdered brothers – those who fought for the freedom of our homeland – are buried in them. “Look for those who are missing from our graves to honor their memory and throw a bunch of flowers on their grave,” they tell us. They tell us to love and respect what they sacrificed their lives for.
